Fife Regatta, Tighnabruaich, Oil on Board, 30x30cm, Frame 50x50cm, £360

"This is the first time I have painted boats in full sail as the main subject.

I found it very stimulating to feel their movement, the roar of the wind

powering their progress, the bow cutting through choppy seas,

waves and spray on deck.  The addition of the element of competition,

speed and  jockeying for position, all added up to create a very exhilarating

subject for the artist.”
