Jill Sievewright is an artist living and working in Scotland.
She originally studied Graphics and Art & Design and went on to work in archaeological illustration for several years. In more recent years she has been painting in response to the lochs, hills and seas of Scotland. She produces pieces ranging from studies of particular features of a landscape to more expansive scenes. Her works are often more abstracted using combinations of colours and textures to reveal more than a visual experience of landscape rather evoking particular moods, energies and atmospheres of places.
