Chris and Michaela work together to create their ceramic artworks. Chris is a poet. Michaela brings the words to life on the clay, along with imagery, textures and marks which complement the poetry. Using stoneware clay, they leave some areas unglazed and some accented with glaze colours inspired by the beautiful Argyll coastline where they live. Their work inspires and engages, exploring the human condition, the spirituality of wild places and the need for hope.
